铣削颤振是发生在加工过程中的一种自激振动现象,该现象加剧刀具磨损,降低工件表面加工精度,减小加工中心的使用寿命,严重制约加工中心的使用效率。针对铣削颤振的研究,提出了一种改进的半离散法,来预测具有多个时滞的铣削稳定性。以不等齿距铣刀铣削为例,与已有的零阶解析方法进行比较,理论验证了所提出的方法对于变齿距铣刀在主轴转速8 000到9 000r/min区间内,将获得较大的稳定性预测极限,而在其他转速区间内,两种预测结果具有良好的吻合性。
The milling chatter is a form of self-excited,unstable vibration in the process of machining,which may result in low machining quality,poor accuracy and surface finish,as well as accelerated tool wear,aside from damaging the cutting spindle and machined part.A semi-discretization method for predicting the stability of milling process with multiple time delays to study cutting chatter is presented.Taking the unequal pitch milling as example,the comparison between this method and the existing zero order analysis method is carried out,through the theoretical verification,the proposed method with variable pitch cutter in the spindle between 8 000 to 9 000r/min will obtain greater stability prediction limit,while in other revolution range,two predictive results are in good congruency.
