Abstract

Wavelet Neural Network（WNN）is chosen to be used in the gear faults diagnosis by studying the gear faults mechanism and gear faults strategy. The grads descendent method of the adaptive studying velocity is put forward to modify the coefficient of the WNN.Finally

it is proved that the WNN could identify the running gear faults through the gear’s testing.
